CABLE ABATEMENT

In addition to the cabling audit services which includes inventory of existing telecom pathways, spaces, cabling and equipment, Think Modular offers inspection and removal of abandoned cabling.

Commercial office spaces are seldom returned to base building after tenants move out leaving behind decommissioned cabling.  This creates a potential fire hazard and liability when the new tenant occupies the existing space.

Fire and safety regulations in each jurisdiction varies and may require that abandoned cable be removed from accessible areas such as raised floors, drop ceilings and riser rooms.
